In a setting so stylish, so beyond expectations, only a celebrity chef will do. Morimoto Waikiki was conceived by Executive Chef – Iron Chef – Masaharu Morimoto. This restaurant enhances Chef Morimoto’s culinary signature with the use of island-grown ingredients. We will savor some of the best seafood from Hawaiian and Japanese waters, as well as seasonal raw selections, fruits and vegetables. We will witness Morimoto’s vision translate to the plate in the open kitchen or at the full sushi bar. The menu offers signatures including the Carpaccio of Wagyu, whitefish or live octopus accompanied by hot oil ginger and yuzu soy, and the Ishi Yaki Buri Bop, which our server will prepare before our eyes – searing yellowtail on the sides of a hot stone bowl heaped with rice. Of course, this Iron Chef is known for developing award-winning beers and sake, too, so we will request a sake flight to expand our palate and savor Morimoto Waikiki!
